Camp Cody is a traditional co-ed overnight summer camp located on the shores of Lake Ossipee in Freedom, New Hampshire. Founded in 1926, the camp blends a century of tradition with a warm, community-driven environment where children ages 7–15 can grow, explore, and build lifelong friendships. Campers enjoy a well-rounded program that includes water sports, land activities, creative arts, and leadership opportunities, all guided by caring staff who emphasize personal growth, confidence, and kindness. With flexible 2- and 4-week sessions, Camp Cody offers an unforgettable summer experience rooted in connection, independence, and fun. While Camp Cody is not an academic-focused program, campers benefit from structured, skill-building activities that promote personal growth, leadership, and confidence. The tuition covers a wide range of enriching experiences led by experienced staff, offering hands-on learning through sports, arts, nature exploration, and team-based challenges.
Optional private instruction is available for an additional fee: Equestrian Program – $625 for two weeks or $1,250 for four weeks; Private Tennis Lessons – $525 for two weeks or $1,050 for four weeks; Scuba Diving – $425 for two weeks or $850 for four weeks; Crew (Rowing & Sculling) – $300 for two weeks or $600 for four weeks; Private Golf Lessons – $525 for two weeks or $1,050 for four weeks.
Camp Cody provides comfortable, cabin-style accommodations where campers live in small groups with dedicated counselors. Cabins are rustic yet cozy, equipped with electricity, storage space, and shared bathroom facilities, fostering a warm, communal atmosphere where friendships and memories are made.
