IMG Academy’s Golf Camp offers a nurturing environment where young athletes can improve all aspects of their golf game, including technical, physical, mental and pre-competition skills. Programmes include personalised small-group coaching sessions as well as training specialisations in mental performance, recovery, leadership and injury prevention.
Located at IMG Academy's premier 18-hole golf club in Bradenton, Florida, the programme features a variety of extracurricular activities - such as pool parties in the resort-style pool - and chaperoned cultural excursions that enrich the overall experience. Athletes are accommodated in secure on-campus residences that provide a comfortable and supportive environment, fostering both rest and community building.
At IMG Academy's Girls Golf Camp, golf training focuses on enhancing technical skills, strategy, and mental toughness; academic instruction is carefully crafted to align with the rigorous golf training schedule; the ESL+GOLF and TOEFL+GOLF programs offer targeted English language improvement, with a focus on enhancing communication skills necessary for both academic success and daily interactions on and off the golf course; these programs are designed to help athletes navigate the challenges of competitive golf and academic environments, ensuring that they are well-prepared for both college applications and golf tournaments.
The camp features evening group activities and organized weekend excursions to local attractions such as downtown Bradenton and the Beach on Anna Maria Island. These outings not only provide relaxation and fun but also help build a supportive community among the participants, enhancing their overall camp experience.
All campers are housed in secure, on-campus accommodations within quadruple occupancy rooms that feature private bathrooms, internet connection, and essential amenities. These residences include common areas, a game room, and a study room, providing a comfortable and focused environment that supports both intense training schedules and academic studies effectively; When not training or studying, student-athletes at IMG Academy can relax in various social settings near the Ascender Halls; these include a state-of-the-art recreational area, four residence halls equipped with campus-wide WiFi, a snack convenience store, and accommodations featuring bunk beds, desks, wardrobes, and private bathrooms; additional facilities include a mail room, study rooms, and 24/7 safety and security; laundry rooms and cleaning services are available; residential mentors provide supervision and enforce curfews; the campus also offers age-appropriate student life activities.
