Stonar's Residential Riding Camp provides a unique and tailored program for riders of all levels, aged 9 to 16. The camp includes daily riding lessons with BHS-qualified coaches, opportunities to bring your own horse or use one of Stonar's, and a mix of flatwork and jumping. Caters for beginners through to advanced riders (no complete beginners). The course features both daily riding lessons and stable management in their world-class, British Horse Society approved Equestrian Centre. Beyond riding, the camp emphasizes stable management and ends with a rosette presentation. Children enjoy a range of onsite leisure activities, all while staying in comfortable boarding houses and enjoying all meals.
All coaches are BHS (British Horse Society) qualified and fully insured.
Aside from riding, Stonar ensures a balanced experience with leisure activities organised by residential staff. These activities, set against the backdrop of the school's top-notch facilities, allow for fun, relaxation, and socialising. A typical day includes both riding sessions and engaging activities, concluding with communal dinners and evening events, promoting camaraderie among participants.
Stonar's boarding houses exude a homely ambiance, ensuring a comfortable stay for young riders. Conveniently located near essential facilities like the Equestrian Centre and dining hall, these boarding houses provide single, twin, or shared dorm rooms with separate accommodation for boys and girls. Each house comes with communal spaces for relaxation and interaction.
