The Learning Centre offers a self-study library, while nearby facilities include a sports hall, indoor swimming pool, and outdoor playing fields, creating a well-rounded environment for both academic and recreational activities. This program provides a unique blend of language learning and cultural immersion in one of the UK’s most iconic cities.
At Studio Cambridge, students engage in an intensive learning regime, comprising 20 lessons (equivalent to 15 hours) every week. These lessons, spanning from Monday to Friday, are hosted in mixed-nationality classes, promoting a diverse learning environment. Before the course commences, an online test is administered to gauge the student's proficiency. As they progress, the institution provides all necessary course materials. At the conclusion of their stay, students receive an academic report from their teachers and are awarded a certificate of studies to acknowledge their efforts and accomplishments.
All Studio Cambridge camps feature a variety of activities to complement the academic programme. Activity sessions include sports, arts & crafts, local visits, language games and social events. The programmes are busy, ensuring there is always lots to do! There will be at least one full-day excursion per week (depending on the camp). Destinations include London, Windsor Castle, Oxford, Brighton and theme parks.
Studio Cambridge provides its students with central accommodation in comfortable and secure buildings, located just a short stroll from both the school and the heart of Cambridge. Every residence boasts modern amenities, and students are accommodated in fully furnished single rooms, each complete with a private en-suite bathroom and shower. For added security and guidance, Studio staff live within these residences, offering 24-hour supervision, ensuring that assistance is always at hand. They also organise engaging evening activities for students, blending learning with leisure.
Regarding meals, both the school and the residences offer a wide array of hot and cold food options, including vegetarian alternatives for every meal. For those with specific dietary needs, the institution is accommodating, provided they are informed in advance. On weekends, students receive convenient packed lunches. Additionally, free laundry facilities are available, with students taking charge of their washing, and a weekly change of bed linen ensures continued comfort.
