A Taunton School summer course includes lots of new adventures and experiences. It is important for students to see and discover as much as they can as this further fuels their appetite for learning. Over the duration of their course, students see many different aspects of British culture, such as the galleries and museums of London, the world- famous colleges of Oxford University, the Roman City of Bath through to the historic city port of Bristol and World Heritage Site of Stonehenge.
Excursions are also about having fun, so some courses include trips to theme parks, beaches and famous cities, as well as offering the chance to explore the outstanding natural beauty in the area surrounding Taunton School. In the evenings, summer course participants can indulge in a wide range of sports, activities and workshops which cater for all interests and ages. You could try your hand at archery, fencing, zorbing, sailing, canoeing, climbing on the high ropes, croquet, T-shirt painting and horse riding to name but a few!
At Taunton Summer School, students find accommodation in one of two homely boarding houses, Thone or The Grange. Each house provides bedrooms that host between three to six students, and to promote English communication, they're often paired with peers of different native languages.
