EIGSI Summer School is a great opportunity to learn more about the ocean and natural resources. You will get the chance to combine high-quality, hands-on courses with outdoor activities while also experiencing the closeness of the ocean.
Students with at least two years post secondary education in science or engineering can apply. We offer 4 modules : Ocean, Atmosphere & Climate, Natural Resources & the Blue Economy, Mapping the Potential for Marine Renewable Energy and Sustainable Design Challenge.
During the Summer School, we offer social activities to the students: visit of La Rochelle's Aquarium, trip to an island, visits of one of the biggest maritime port in Europe, snacks and dinner...
Each student gets a private student apartment, including a kitchenette and own bathroom, located in EIGSI's own residence, just 100 meters away from the school.
