Imaginarium’s Residential Film and Acting Camp brings together ambitious young creatives for an immersive, pre-professional film experience. Over two focused weeks, students work alongside experienced tutors to bring a scripted story from page to screen, learning how real productions operate. Based at the H-FARM campus near Venice, the programme blends serious creative work with shared living, cultural experiences, and lasting friendships. The final film is professionally produced and later screened to a public audience at the Imaginarium Film Festival, giving students a genuine sense of achievement and ownership.
Students receive intensive, hands-on training across film, acting, and screenwriting. Learning happens through doing, with rehearsals, workshops, on-set production, and daily feedback from industry tutors. The focus is practical skill, creative confidence, and understanding how professional film sets really work.
Evenings are designed for connection and creativity, with relaxed social time, film screenings, games, and campus activities. Weekend excursions include cultural visits in and around Venice, offering inspiration, shared experiences, and a change of pace from the production schedule.
Students stay on the H-FARM campus in supervised accommodation with full board included. All meals, refreshments, pastoral care, and daily support are provided, allowing students to focus fully on their creative work in a safe, structured environment.
