ISSFT St Andrews offers teenagers aged 13–18 an inspiring residential summer school in Scotland’s historic seaside university town. Students choose an academic subject for the morning and an expert-led elective for the afternoon, including opportunities to develop their golf in the Home of Golf. Beyond their classes, they enjoy sports, beach activities, social events and cultural excursions while building friendships with teenagers from around the world. Every student has a guaranteed single en-suite bedroom, with meals, 24-hour pastoral care and a full activity programme included. It is a supportive place to grow in confidence, explore new interests and experience English immersion.
At ISSFT St Andrews, students choose one academic subject for the morning and one elective for the afternoon. Academic options include English, Global Leadership, Global Entrepreneurship and Medicine, with engaging lessons that build knowledge, communication and confidence. Afternoon electives offer the chance to develop sporting or creative talents through expert instruction, including Golf, Tennis, Photography and Sports Leadership. Together, the two subjects give every student a balanced, personalised summer of learning and discovery.
Outside the classroom, ISSFT St Andrews is filled with opportunities to explore, connect and have fun. Students enjoy supervised evening events, sports and team activities, time at the beach, and excursions that introduce them to Scotland’s culture and landscapes. Shared experiences bring teenagers from around the world together, helping them build confidence, practise English naturally and form friendships that last beyond the summer.
At ISSFT St Andrews, every student has a guaranteed single en-suite bedroom: a comfortable, private space to rest and recharge after a busy day. Modern accommodation includes a study area, while shared spaces give students room to relax and spend time with new friends. Meals are provided, and residential staff offer 24-hour supervision and pastoral support throughout the stay.
