At ISSFT Oxford, students combine morning academic classes with afternoon sporting and creative electives. Small, engaging classes in subjects such as English, Global Leadership and Study Skills build knowledge and confidence. Afternoons offer expert instruction in Golf, Tennis, Photography, Sports Leadership and more, helping students develop new interests and skills. Beyond their studies, teenagers enjoy supervised social events, cultural excursions and visits to destinations including London. From exploring Oxford’s historic colleges to making friends from around the world, students experience a summer that balances academic growth, personal discovery and lasting memories.
Students can choose subjects such as Academic English, Study Skills, Global Leadership, Global Entrepreneurship and Introduction to Medicine. English options support different learning goals, from developing fluency to strengthening academic writing. At the end of the session, students receive a report on their progress and a completion certificate. The key message for parents is that students gain focused academic learning while still having time to explore a sport or creative interest each afternoon.
At ISSFT Oxford, every student chooses one academic subject to study each weekday morning. Three hours of focused teaching give them time to explore a subject in depth, ask questions and put new ideas into practice. The 2027 Oxford choices include Advanced English with Study Skills, Intensive English Language, Global Leadership, Computer Coding and AI, and Medicine. Through discussion, projects and practical challenges, students develop knowledge alongside skills such as communication, critical thinking and problem solving. Their academic study is complemented by a chosen afternoon elective, and they finish the session with a report on their progress and a completion certificate.
