About this camp

Development is designed for golfers aged 7–11 who are beginning their golf journey or building skills and confidence. No handicap or previous competitive experience is required.

Two hours of professional group coaching each day combine with enjoyable golf selected for younger players. Coaching is adapted to age, ability and confidence, helping golfers improve while having fun. Friendships, independence and memorable shared experiences are an important part of camp life.

Available in St Andrews on 4–10, 18–24 and 25–31 July 2027, with residential and non-residential places. Development is not offered during The Open Week. An experienced 10- or 11-year-old may be better suited to Ultimate; contact Rick for guidance.
