About this camp

Hidden Gems is for established 18-hole golfers aged 12–18 with an official handicap. It combines professional coaching with the chance to discover Scottish courses chosen for their character, variety and golfing challenges.

Two hours of professional group coaching each day help golfers develop technique, confidence and course management. Time on different courses encourages them to adapt, make decisions and enjoy the game alongside other enthusiastic junior golfers. Friendships, independence and enjoyment remain central to camp life.

Choose St Andrews on 4–10, 18–24 or 25–31 July 2027, with residential and non-residential places, or the residential-only Open Week at Dollar Academy on 10–17 July. High Performance Coaching is an optional paid enhancement. Planned courses and schedules are subject to final confirmation.

What you'll do

Residential golfers enjoy organised evening activities and time with fellow campers, encouraging friendships, confidence and independence alongside their golf. The emphasis is on an enjoyable, supportive camp experience, with the activity programme suited to the group.

Accommodation and food

Residential places include accommodation, meals and staff support. St Andrews weeks are based in St Andrews; The Open Week is based at Dollar Academy and is residential only.

Non-residential places are available in St Andrews during Weeks 1, 3 and 4. Lunch is included, but breakfast and dinner are not; families arrange their own accommodation and daily travel.
