Our English Summer School for children is a residential based that enables your child to learn English in a safe environment and have lots of fun. We offer 15 hours of English lessons for international students and have the option of additional lessons to learn English if required. We also have a Social and Active English Programme that mean children consolidate their English language learning every afternoon and evening. The best way to learn English is to live it. XUK English Summer School allows your child to do just that by absorbing the language and culture in a completely safe and friendly environment. We have developed our study holidays to help every international student improve and learn English.
Whatever their level, each child’s English is assessed on their first day. This means that they will be able to learn with others who are at a similar stage and age group. Every week teachers re-assess each child to see if they have made sufficient progress to move up to the next class. At the end of the course, every child receives a certificate and report to record their achievement. On 5 mornings of the week there are 3 hours of lessons and these are split into two 90 minute sessions with different teachers. Our lessons are delivered in modern, bright classrooms and in our outdoor areas.
Optional extras are activities at XUK English that are a bit different and completely optional. It is always great to unwind and do something different, especially after a great morning of learning in the English lessons. Options include a visit to stonehenge, London, Aqua Park, Theme Park, Laser quest.
We have five incredible boarding areas at XUK English. Our dorms come in all shapes and sizes. We have rooms that sleep one camper up to six campers. All campers will have access to bathrooms in their corridors. Some are en suite. Dorm groups are divided by age and sex. Dorms are assigned upon arrival, your child will not get a choice of room size. Our priority is to ensure that campers are with/close by to those who are the same/similar age
