For musical theatre, film and screen acting courses, students are divided into age appropriate accommodation. In keeping with the ‘arts educational’ experience and our wish to develop independence, teamwork and leadership skills, all meals, lessons and activities are taken together. Excursions and evening entertainment are combined allowing students to spend time with new friends in a relaxed manner after a packed day rehearsal or film making. The course aims to introduce students to the discipline and excitement of a professional week while making new friends in Ireland. Students aged 12 to 19 are welcomed into a happy and supportive family environment where they thrive as they learn to live, rehearse, study and relax both independently and together. Our courses give students measurable results, confidence and memories to last a lifetime.
The course is small and friendly, and each location offers a perfect backdrop for an exciting summer. Each day is structured to give a true taste of drama and film school life. Classes with three professional directors each morning, group and company film or theatre workshops, intensive rehearsal in afternoons. Houses are well-equipped with social areas providing games rooms, computer rooms, etc. Students are encouraged to maintain regular contact with their families at home.
